The primary tool for assembling the boards is the Altium 365 Viewer. This is a browser-based tool. You will have to sign up for a free account at https://altium.365.com before opening the links below. Once signed in you will be able to view the files on any computer, tablet or phone. You will use this tool to reference all of the design documents including the BOM, schematics, PCB & assembly. The assembly view will guide you through the build process and allow you to locate and check off each component as it is installed.
When you click on a PCB assembly link below you will be taken directly to a browser-based interactive page. Here you can view, print and download the BOM, schematics & PCB files. You can view the PCB in 2D or 3D. To aid in assembly & troubleshooting you can select any component or net and it will be highlighted on all pages. Traditional PDF & Excel files are also available.
Please see the Altium 365 Viewer documentation for full details on the cloud-based tool.
Please Note: The VS-1 Build Manual is still in draft form, currently draft v0.83. Formatting may change, and Section 3 on calibration is yet to be completed. There are also a few steps left in section 2 to be completed.
